With this piece I was learning to be more subtle with my forms and get better at texturing and shading. The beautiful Tao Okamoto was my reference for this portrait. Hopefully it shows through a bit :)

Zbrush was used to sculpt and Maya to re-topologize and UV.
Mari to texture, with the help of great textures from
Xgen for hair.
Arnold for Maya was used to lookdev and render. Arnold 5 is beautiful!
Finally Nuke was used for a bit of comp.
